had after the last three days of the so-called archaeological excavation nüscht with actual digging more to do and there was generally little to do, I took all to me bidder task joyfully - and I have no regrets! In this way I came namely on Thursday to Tel Aviv and had the opportunity in the local Bar Ilan University visit (by the way, the second largest in Israel) to the laboratory and all the Tell es-Safi to see discoveries - at least those who have more already or less reconstructed (as yet) non are in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. It was - once again - one man show! Photos to follow.
After End-of-season party and farewell to the kibbutz, I am back in Tel Aviv and enjoy this follow on trains. Certain traditions, such as the "Sleeping on the roof, this of course, if only for financial reasons retained. However, there are also differences: in Jerusalem at night while I still wore a sweater, it works in Tel Aviv also topless. It's really warm. And this also applies for the water! If I ever go to the sea, then the Israeli coast will be my first choice. In addition, here even the supposedly secular spa pass an experience of biblical proportions, because if you consider that you have the regular waves here (the waves are also sometimes 1.50 m high) or more is delivered less helpless, one can well imagine what it must have been issued a Jonah or a Paul.
But another tradition is also mentioned here: thanks to the fact that our Canadian friend Ric is probably the only yesterday appeared on the sharp stone in total, miles of sandy beach, we had the opportunity to continue our tour by Israeli Krankenhaueser. This time, "visited" we the hospital, in the 1995 Yitzhak Rabin, died after he was shot by Yigal Amir. This could be interpreted as a bad omen, but I think the unfortunate fact that Ric had to be genaecht with six stitches and his middle toe may never again will move can has more to do with the fact that the said stone severed his tendon.
Well, he even takes it with humor.
As always, there would naturally have more to report, but I'll try to let the images speak on Monday for themselves.
Until then, many greetings and Shabbat Shalom!

Kidney Infection With Brown
"I survived Armageddon!"
Addendum to last week: the suspicion that Militaeraufgebot in the vicinity of our Tells whether to lead back to a missing person report has been confirmed. However, appeared the missing soldier, who apparently belonged to some special unit, now up again. Apparently he had no right in the maneuver tired of it, and went home. Most Israelis are now so be happy for two reasons: first, because he's back and was not kidnapped the subject line and secondly because they do not put in his shoes. Because most likely the young man is small at first walking in the jail.
Now to the last weekend: On Saturday I
had booked a not very cheap, but all the more impressive tour to or from Galilee. On the way over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv we drove including through the valley of Megiddo, Har-Mageddon, and were - as you see - get out alive again. It surprised me how little there, Tell compared to our world famous is. However, the former is certainly no less important, after all, already been to date over 30 different building levels excavated.
were far more fascinating, however, Nazareth and Kefar Nahum (Capernaum). Both times it is due to ease in the first place to the Franciscans, that not just blindly built a new church on the ruins of the old, but research was done was more important archaeologically. And the results are remarkable! In contrast to the religious buildings in Jerusalem can be seen near these two places are still the remains of as Maria's parents house, the synagogue and the home of Peter's mother, which could largely upon identification of graffiti, which in some cases even on the 1 . Century were dated.
If only a few weeks or just days has the time, there are really only two good reasons, to come to Israel: tourist and scientific (whether archeology, geology, theology, sociology or other). In Galilee, one comes in two respects at his expense. I rate but still depends, to visit from the so-called Holy Land spiritual reasons - you'd be disappointed. Yesterday, Sunday
want to mention I did that I went with three other Grabungsvolontaeren the archaeological park at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, where one of the three, was unfortunately bitten by a scorpion. The museum people but responded immediately shouted for an ambulance and were very accommodating. Although we had already seen about 80% of the whole exhibition, we got all four of the full ticket price refunded back.
Slowly I will be aware, though, for what it really was a blessing to connect just in Palestine on a nail. The Israeli hospital prices are namely astronomical and also I would have without the slight injury to his foot two days of exciting work in the office missed. So I could also learn about archeology from all sides.
Sun is now but soon to dinner and then the whole still remained excavation border troop to Beit Guvrin to a classical concert, which is practically the alternative program to a lecture on Bronze and Iron Ages in Jerusalem (the teacher is ill).
Many Greetings from the kibbutz,
Magnus

Torn Skin During Brazillian
some time in Gulistan Gulistan
Hello children of the sun,
I know i
ch you've been a long wait for the sequel. but now it goes in the text. last time I wrote even from my arrival in the small mountain village of Gulistan in the Uzbek part of the Tien Shan. Before I travel reports, let me say again just how hard I, the ethnic Kyrgyz and Uzbeks between attacks in the Ferghana valley think about a month. short time before it was to pass that on this side of the border and only a little later to beat because there is murder and totscglag. and Gulistan, for example, perhaps only ten or fifteen kilometers from the Kyrgyz border.
good, so now to talk further. after all the hassle with the police men
chadak and in the provincial capital of Namangan now so I came in under minawarows, who received me cordially. I had made up my mind where one, maybe two to stay for days and then my way on foot through the mountains and I continue to adjacent and then across strike to Tashkent. but then there was something different.
the minawarows are a Tajik family and they live in three generations under one roof. the oldest is the grandfather, who was at the beginning of the year suffered a stroke and is paralyzed for the half-page. how confident can imagine
, the mountain village in one where one is for Our relationships are very poor infrastructure, extremely difficult. not even with a wheelchair or walker is progressing as one. anyway he is so moved by his own house in the street to the back and is really good because people from all over the clean and distressed.
the father of the family, is alik miner in a mine in chadak matluba and the mother takes care of the household. three daughters still live in the house. gulruch, gulorum and dildora. the house and property is located directly on the street
pulls and hang something in the. A small stream is probably diverted through the middle and is the eternal babbling drinkable water. and animals there are in the yard. three adult cattle, quite small and woolly, with a calf, chickens, goats, cashmere coat with a silky, which I had never seen before and which serve only the production of wool, a dog named Bielka called and a young kitten mischka. also are on the ground many peach trees that were in full bloom now.
the day of my arrival was a Friday and thus the start of the weekend, so two sisters of the father and a daughter of another sister were visiting. after I had been after my arrival and the trip to the provincial capital, and supplied with food and drink was, it was already late. So all went to bed, with I shared a room with the father of the family.
the next morning then I watched in silence and at daylight on. the mountains were all around impressive, and in the distance we saw the GIPF still covered with snow. It was all really nice there. There is a toilet, a cooking area bach on the farm and another in a growing, down in the rushes tal a larger, the snow-melt at or permanent weatherproof some in can destroy villages and Bielka - a short-legged mongrel - retains tail wagging the this refers to the garden . the goats were already in the mountains, but the lambs remained in the stall.
the morning of the buoyancy goats in the mountains and the nightly return is a pretty impressive-looking game, I was allowed to see another day yet. Here, all the goats of the village driven (and everyone has some) on the road and a short path to a bridge over the stream accompanied. From there, they pull no supervision or monitoring in an endless train in the surrounding mountains
far into where they disperse. in the evening then they turn off automatically at dusk in an equally long train back in the village, said again and again and then automatically find all the gone in her stall and just out of the train on the right and left lands disappear. no shepherds, no pet.
during the day, the third sister came with her family-alikes to be visited. much has been told and ate and danced and eventually the husband came up with the idea, a computer with a heranzuschaffen Russian English-translation program. went quite well, I think. in any case also surprisingly well over long stretch here.
I scrambled around in the surrounding mountains. on this side of the creek were goats everywhere. somewhere in the background once sat a Tajik. a wild dog or wolf roamed around. Eventually a neighbor boy with
was a German textbook started, it showed me and was glad. the people were very cordial. at this time I had made the decision one day to want to stay the next morning and then break up.
the next day I broke so at great warnings from predators and wolves and the deep snow and cold, and yes please not this way, a drawn map to choose on my on. I assured them that the evil wolves would get all hand edge, they would try to eat breakfast myself.
it drove me up the father or a good piece of the road, and take no end Gulistan wanted. eventually I got at the end of the building and wandered off. it went higher and higher into the mountains and the road was getting worse. been so it came to a bridge washed away by mountain torrents and replaced quite fresh but only temporarily with tree trunks was. for a while there was still some yards away and the people were amazed at me. otherwise it was always deserted. but not entirely. were far above such as a bend at one time three children along the way and talked. far and wide, no house.
than I was now running very well and there was actually no more houses, appeared behind my types at once to two on a motorcycle with sidecar. they asked me if I would ride. I refused. one, two kilo mater further they waited on a little plateau at a crossroads and we came just to talk. I asked them away after giving them the card and showed the marked path. they wondered just himself and then turned me over a nearby snow-covered pass.
so I followed her pointing finger introduced, after some time, however, that on this route of the vanished away. there was nothing left except stone, snow, water, moss. I was really mad at the guys and thought they had always guided me why deliberately misled into. I tried So some other paths, climbed up high on the mountains
set and time and again that everything somehow looked after away or street suddenly disappeared anywhere. Hours and hours went by and I noticed that the two had not fooled me. all the years and the extreme weather and the wind snow melt, and so have just destroyed everything that was there maybe because of. it was wolf tracks really. eventually I was then so did my plan, and turned back, with the relegation drop significantly lighter.
cultivate when I came back, I was again greeted warmly. some women actually gave me pass without asking the fresh bread and every now and then someone asked me
to the tee. chai, which would mean at the same time refused dinner, I however. also on the site of one biker I passed by, the rejoiced and asked me to come in as and what I turned down. I wanted to go back to the minawarows, who was far away and it was already late.
but then came a sister of minawarows in between their home and where I had earlier had now gone. here of course I could not turn down the invitation and went to dinner so that was just preparing a. very nice people. and despite their expressed islam had I drink the first time with the family father a remarkable "wine"
. over time were here now more and more neighbors and add all sorts of people and they all looked and wanted to be with me take pictures. even if they were always very kind and cordial, in the long run that was quite tiring.
came eventually and fortunately gulruch gulorum to pick me up and take it. I was well pleased with them because I was not presented this way on the plate and the neighborhood, but you read me and everything was quiet.
so much for today. soon there will be more.

Skull and Bones
No, the question is not of that ominous fraternity, which all belonged, the two former presidents Bush, but actually many of a skull and bones. Herein was, indeed, the most spectacular by far the find of the day yesterday. This is almost certainly no grave, unfortunately - about the burial practices of the Philistines, to date, almost nothing is known - but the more detailed examination of the remains will certainly provide new insights into the life practice of maritime people. Was found the skeleton, which is, in my humble opinion, is to a child, my own excavation site near Unfortunately, with smashed skulls. The reason for this could be a close Muehlstein found. Whether the cause of death but also the was is questionable. Is also unclear to what extent a link between the destruction of Gath (cf. 2 Kings 12.17 and in most German Bible verse 18) and the death of the person is. However, the fact that were torso, arms and skull on the "Destruction Hazael Level" found out that there is such a demonstration. Even the sex could be determined not so far. First, because of the smashed skull, on the other hand, since all the bones hueftabwaerts, if any, are still under the "bar", ie below about 1m earth. And because archeology is now time unfortunately does not work that simply digging a hole and gets it all out what's inside, but all measured accurately, register, document and archive needs, at least the lower part of the skeleton year this will probably no longer can be salvaged. Despite everything I am, of course, like most here, looking forward to the first results!
tension may think you can also on sound information about the strange-looking road blockade since his early today. Even the one way to tell a delay in us and the way back turned out to be even more adventurous, as our buses had strange detours over harvested fields. This was due to Israeli army. However, we do not know yet the exact reason. For a simple maneuver the effort seemed too great and there were rumors, a soldier was missing. Since the Lebanon war is one with such messages hellhoerig course. It might suggest, therefore, to look back news tonight ...
For me, this is however not in it because we are now once again the traditional end-of-Week Dinner have. After the excavation tomorrow - who wants that can also track the way, via live stream on www.gath.wordpress.com - I will then take back to Jerusalem and from there on Saturday to Galilee.
Many greetings from sunny Israel,
Magnus

Kidney Infection With Brown Spotting?
Tisha Beav
Last night began that mentioned above, Jewish holiday on which the destruction of Solomon's and Herod's Temple is thought (even if both historically occurred at a slightly different date). As is traditional prelude to one of the five Megilloth (hard rolls), namely Eicha (Lamentations) is read. As a sign of mourning sitting here on the floor and then fasted for 24 hours (even on water is waived!). On the latter, however, I participated for two reasons: are, first, because of my foot while I still must take medication, regular meals for me and vital to the other, which is even more important, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6 yes it clear that we followers of Christ to mourn the Temple of the Holy Spirit, or the Hebrew Ruach HaKodesh are, so it seems to me as unnecessary, a stone temple. Nevertheless
is the text of the Megillat that probably comes from Jeremiah, and read the way he sang, or rather, is incredibly moving, so sometimes I even came to tears.
Otherwise also be noted that both prayers and their effect drugs have not failed me and I after two days in the office tomorrow will be at the Tell.

me a few still missing, but one of the wounds of Christ I am wearing now. How it came about:
we had just crossed over the Israeli-Palestinian border and had a taxi on the way to Bethlehem when we stopped en route to a bombed factory and some of the famous graffiti paintings on the famous, not only because of the Wachtuerme to consider the former Berlin wall resembling extreme limit. I got out of the car because I wanted to photograph a German-language graffiti from a comfortable angle. But while I have just passed a stinking Muellberg and ran on a dog carcass, I felt a sudden, out of nowhere an extremely sharp pain in my right foot. At first I thought it was a shot like that I had not heard due to distance. Fortunately raised the cause out to be less dramatic: I stepped on a rusty nail that had been drilled by shoe and sock in my heel.
There are so sure no appropriate place to connect in a nail, but Bethlehem is probably one the most unsuitable.
Well, at least I did so in the "pleasure" to meet a Palestinian hospital from the inside, where I also like a coming out of Argentina's sister - in both senses, she lives in a monastery near Solomon's Pools "and hunted for allegorical interpretation of Song of Songs Mariological - was treated. Even my taxi driver was found to be auesserst helpful and friendly and we were about Jesus, or Isa, according to the Quran does not even come in a "stable", but under a date palm to the world. Of his pluralistic views, I could not derail the good man, but in any case, it was very interesting. Of course
was also interesting to Bethlehem itself, in particular Church of the Nativity (And all other churches that are located on the site) and the Shepherd field, from where you have a beautiful view. Sun
wait As the others get to me and say we are on the go to Falafelessen, I take my leave now and send a lot of regards from Ramallah!

Booyakasha!
A lot has happened in the last week and that's the reason why I'm writing just now. A small addendum still in Jerusalem, namely because there were also there to experience something positive that is worth mentioning: I have me there rooms include shared with a Messianic Jew from England, and invited him selbstverfreilich in one of the three Messianic congregations in Stuttgart.
When we got back in the kibbutz were, it was the first place, to marvel at some new faces, including funny, also the father of two of my ehemalgen classmates (I knew him before but not), which is incidentally also a former PBC'ler, in the not too long time but the new party has founded (who knows, maybe this time ...). with program This is no longer quite so young man lies indeed a Germanic national pride on the day that I am personally very unpleasant, but is mitigated, which in view of the overpowering dominance of the Commonwealth at the excavation something - last I was at Pottery Washing even a splinter in the hand that had exactly the shape of Texas. But in order
now come at last to the headline: the hard work in my "square" this week has been very well rewarded. We had so many finds honestly, we did not know where should we still connect. And since I have some of the cruet that were used both for storage of spices and oils as well as drawing from the larger vessels, had discovered, gave me amide, our supervisor, this royal title. Moreover, this young man is entertaining mainly because he succumbs to the illusion that we can German. Only the day before yesterday he was firmly convinced that in the English phrase "collect the loose soil and dump it" would mean in German "frichzen, frichzen, oll de files zoom soil".
is noteworthy addition to the overwhelming amount of finds also that the evidence for the "Amos-earthquake" (see Amos 1:1) at Tell accumulate and we are now the first archaeological evidence for metalworking (bronze and iron) have found with the Philistines.
Right now I am, however, returned to Jerusalem and would make me, along with two Australians and a Canadian, in a few minutes on the road to Bethlehem. But I can already say that the night was an absolute experience here, because we namely the subject line no room had, but on the roof of a youth hostel in the old town (opposite the Redeemer and Holy Sepulchre) stayed overnight, where we have a magnificent view over all of Jerusalem including the Mount of Olives enjoyed.
So far from me ...

So far from me ...
violently Wishes!

How Much To Add A Bed Room
snow
No, yet it does not snow. At least not here on the coast of Parana. In some spots the snow in southern Brazil event should also be suspicious already been close to the possibility. With almost zero and Sun
We have had a wonderful winter, which has provided me with demRegensommer a little spoiled. Mostly it's the day 20 and 26 degrees. At night it cools down only to 14 to 18 degrees. It can therefore withstand. Even if we just a "cold wave" have, with rain, 16 degrees during the day and nights are around 11 degrees, winter is nevertheless in order. The cold days are numbered, which was announced by the meteorologists already.
grows our little house. The walls are pulled done. We are in the process of treating the bamboo for the roof. A bar to the other, we fill it with borax. Then be serviced. Then the poles of the Putty free, we have scrawled in possible cracks, so as not running out the borax. Then wash off and still drying. Sounds fast, but it takes a bit to complete the whole process is. Stupid way we are now also the borax gone out and around here there are not buying. Have tried to contact a company via the Internet. But their number is no longer true. Will try it on. Maybe there is still another shop somewhere where can buy the stuff. The one that we have found in Curitiba, I would like to avoid. First, because it offers only 2 kg bags, and partly because he has such a thing as pharmacists prices.
Besides we have started to prepare everything for a greenhouse. 4 by 5 meters. Base of brick and concrete floor of beaten clay and scaffolding, clear, made of bamboo. Looking forward to it. At the end of winter, I can hopefully start my planting activities again ....

Black Bowel Movement In Ketosis
daughter Zion - The Second
I and the other Hobbymaulwuerfe effective for only one full day sightseeing in Jerusalem have the time or have had, we have tried, of course, as soon as possible to get out of bed. So we made shortly before 8 on the way through Jaffa Gate and the Old Town towards the Mount of Olives.
got us there including an overweight Chinese rode on a donkey with a grin towards and shouted "Hosanna, Hosanna!" For all the misery also demanded still smoking like a chimney of the Arabs, who led the visibly overweight and suffering animal heat, by anyone who wanted to photograph this tawdry spectacle NIS 5 ...
also the inspection of the suspected Garden of Gethsemane, which is probably more of a small garden area was pretty disillusioning.
After side trips to the funeral as well as alleged Geburtstaette of Mary, Mother of Jesus, was the Pilgerei me and all the tourist frills but too colorful for the first time and I separated from my group passed the Herod's Gate, and sought refuge in the grave yard. With almost certainly, these are neither to the authentic grave nor the Kreuzigungsstaette Jesus (also similar when the nearby hills, in fact, a skull - but do first, it is only from a certain perspective, and secondly, in view the fact that the site 2000 years ago was a quarry still very doubtful whether he even then it looked), but the staff there are so much more sociable and the atmosphere pleasant than to lengths in the Holy Sepulchre.
most notable is probably also still my visit to the so-called Zedekiah Cave, which probably came from the huge stone blocks that were used to build the second and possibly even the first Temple. This was the historical center, a huge cave about 230 m wide dug into the rock. What happened to me, however, was this: when I was - all alone - about 200 m had gone far, went out for some reason the light ... I already asked me whether I was probably also, much like Jeremiah, would lock up in this cave, but thanks be to God were then but two young men, who repaired the lights so that I could find the way back.
This evening for me is essentially still writing postcards on the program, but since I am now quite exhausted, and that's enough.
So then, tired Wishes!

"Guns' n 'Moses' Animal
With this popular t-shirt print actually has described a large part of Jerusalem. At least as far as I can tell after half a day here. All those who have never been to Jerusalem, I can say to you I watch the Luther movie (starring Joseph Fiennes) to, especially the scenes in Rome at that time. Jerusalem is still 10 times worse! Perhaps the most unholy place I have ever entered, the Holy Sepulcher. Art and church history although admittedly very interesting theological and spiritual but just sickening. Should it be in the Herodian temple received only approximately similar, it is probably more than understandable that Jesus at that time, the collar has burst. For all the misery was when I decency with some Australian friends just before the really grave, right next to me even a young man in a swoon (given the fact that the incense content was probably higher in the air as the oxygen content is not very surprising) . After a short Falafelpause we have the debate still visits the Western Wall to Schabattbegruessung. As an (amateur) archaeologist, I found it but of course very unfortunate that just Wilson and Robinson arc of this strange Wooden bridge was blocked, which should enable the Muslims, the Temple Mount, on which today we all know, the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque are located to enter, without coming to the Jews in their way.
Whatever. I am very excited about what tomorrow will bring yet. The plan is definitely a visit to the Mount of Olives and then watch me, what is good from there on foot is reached (possibly grave yard, one probably. Ir David, ...).
Many greetings from the goldglaenzenden city, Yerushalayim shel sahav (but remember: it's not all gold that glitters!)

Clip Art From Panera Bread

... we received yesterday and today. And that by a mole. It sounds funny, and it is. The little guy has his tireless digging actually befoerdet some beautiful painted pottery to the surface. Cool thing, ne? Otherwise we have
excavated in the last two days, three of our Fuenfquadratmeterflaeche about 70 cm deep (the inclined Nerd can figure out like me, how much is in cubic meters). And I must confess to have been so far to no other day so exhausted as to be today. This is, however, also at the lack of sleep, as we have seen yesterday in the kibbutz's own bar, the semi-final game on the big screen. Unfortunately, I had previously with amide, our supervisor, on the bet admitted that if Germany loses, I have to go the next day, all the wheelbarrow ...
than that it was nevertheless a highly successful day because: we have reached the famous "destruction level. Fragments and also completely preserved pottery we discovered here nearly a penny and some large stones (some with burn marks) indicate a house. It will be fascinating over the next few days! Furthermore, I still can
mention that I was the announced lectures about David and Goliath convinced little. The professor thought it very unlikely namely, that the latter could have ever existed at all, whereas not only the so-called "Goliath Inscription" talks (see: http://faculty.biu.ac.il/ ~ maeira / project.html ). The lecture was generally built on the hypothesis that the books of Deuteronomy (5 Moses) to 2 Kings were all written after 586 BC, which was explained by the fact that in the latter book, the last mentioned event the deportation of the Jews in Jerusalem. Against this assumption is, however, including the fact that some terms have experienced within these books an apparent change of meaning. For example, believes about the term "Book of Moses" at first only the 5th Book of Genesis, while it referred to later, the entire Torah. Such a development would not be possible if all books were created at the same time.
Sun Now I am first time to the end-of-Week-dinner party tonight, tomorrow morning will be dug in the dirt again and then you go on to Jerusalem.
Well, then,
Jalla Jalla!

Create My Wrestling Belt
" Do not Tell it in Gath ... Dig it! "
with this word game (loosely based on 2 Samuel 1:20), which last year the T-shirt excavation graced, I greet you hereby violently from Kibbutz Revadim in Israel!
Today is day 3 on day 2 of the tell and really digging in the next few scorpions and so far - have been a number of pottery shards found mostly Babyschildkroete - that was quite a surprise. But that is not nearly as exciting as it is expected to be as we were busy yesterday so essentially each excavation squares (see below) of erosierter earth, clean plants, etc. and have now opened several new "Squares". Here, of course, must initially once the turf be removed, which in turn is quite zeitaufwaendig. Particularly happy, however, is the fact that I am in "Area D" to dig about 150 meters beyond the actual plate on which was located in the iron so the Philistines time the upper town may. This area was in fact inhabited probably at no other time, at least not according to the Iron Age, which means that only about 20 cm below the Earth's surface on a so-called "Destruction Level" was met with the destroyed and partially burned remains of the Lower Town holds. This destruction in turn can lead to the back in 2 Kings 12.17 Gath by Hazael described conquest of Damascus. So dramatic that event may have been, it has for us an advantage: as in the case of Pompeii also had people bring no way to their property before the event in safety, what us two and a half thousand years later, the opportunity is, in this state at that time to dig again.
Some artifacts have already been excavated, we will lead this evening on the basis of a reconstructed Philistine village before our eyes (leave). And then even as a lecture on "Did David kill Goliath of Gath, really?" on the program, on its content and result, I have 'm very excited. More about
finds, my expected stay in Jerusalem at the weekend, the German-English (Football) Friendly local, Australian customs and the peculiarities of the Hebrew language in the next few days ...
Until then ...
Shalom!

Potato Dishes That Go With Venison
is now off you!
Once again, I check my bag just to possibly Overlooked. The travel bug has infected me so with full force. By this time tomorrow I will hopefully in the kibbutz, or at least be in Israel. To a very un-Christian times, namely at half past 5 in the morning I will have to be at the airport in Stuttgart, and my biggest concern is current, whether the Transport all goes well. The fact that the Middle East right now is not the most peaceful still the safest place in the world bother me at all not. Rather, I am looking forward to digging and hopefully many new discoveries and insights about the city, came from the so famous Philistine like Goliath. Maybe it will even, to discover one or the other indicating the origin of this still mysterious people. Particularly happy is also the fact that there is "our" Kibbutz most likely at the place where Old Testament times was to Ekron, another member of the five Philistine Cities and Towns. Since I own no computer available will, I promise a precaution rather no photos for this blog. At least not within the next four weeks. But then for sure! But even without pictures, I hope to report interesting.
So
stay tuned!
